A Very Winchelsea Quiz Night!
The Winchelsea charity, Friends Of the Ancient Monuments held a sell-out and very unique Winchelsea-themed quiz on Saturday 18th February at the New Hall. In addition to an ingenious and entertaining selection of questions, the 13 teams of 6 quizzers were treated to a delicious two-course meal.
Special praise and thanks are due to the quiz-masters, the cooks, those who served and cleared away, and of course the wonderful and entertaining compere, for hosting such a fabulous evening that raised the considerable sum of £1200 towards the upkeep of the town’s medieval gates and Court Hall Museum.
